Car spotted ferrying a palm tree taking up 3 lanes

International: A car was captured on dashcam ferrying a palm tree, occupying three lanes on the road.

In the video, in what seems like filmed from our neighbouring country Malaysia, a car was filmed with a palm tree on it, initially, it looks like a palm tree was lying in-front on the bonnet of the car, however, on closer look, the palm tree was found to be inside the car.

The windows of the car were winded down, and the palm tree was innovatively slotted into the car with its lower branch protruding out of the left window, and the palm tree leaf out on the right window. One part of the palm tree leaf was scrapping the road as well.

The car boot was also left open, but there was no “plant-like” items in it or anything else of interest.

The whole setup with the palm tree and the car occupying up to three lanes of the road, resulted in those lanes being off limit to other oncoming traffic.

In hindsight, we are curious about where the driver got the palm tree and how did he/she manage to slot it into his/her car securely.

As this incident is peculiar we are not sure if we can classify this as road hogging.
