Singapore: In the submitted video footage, the Angliss truck was caught on camera struggling to do a three points turn to turn out of the carpark.
The Angliss truck first tried to three points turn out of the carpark via the carpark slot adjacent to cam car. The driver struggled and decided to proceed to three points turn out of the carpark at the open parking space beside cam car.
This time round he managed to complete his three points turn. But at the expense of knocking down cam car’s side mirror. Instead of stopping to leave his contact details for further action, the truck driver drove off.
The black car adjacent to the cam car was not spared as well.
Base on Singapore Road Traffic Act, Hit and Run carry a fine of up to $3,000 and/or to imprisonment for a term of up to 12 months if the driver had caused serious injury or death to another person. Repeat offenders can be fined up to $5,000 and/or jailed for up to 2 years.
