The chase moved through several roads in the Choa Chu Kang vicinity, drawing public attention due to the van’s dangerous driving behaviour. During the pursuit, the driver was observed making abrupt manoeuvres and driving in a reckless manner, creating significant risk to other road users and pedestrians in the area.

The situation escalated when the van collided with a Traffic Police motorcycle. The officer involved was injured and conveyed to hospital in a conscious and stable condition, while the suspect driver was also taken to hospital after the incident.

The pursuit eventually ended near Keat Hong, where the van lost control and skidded onto a pavement area, coming to a stop. Police officers swiftly secured the scene and arrested the driver. Subsequent checks revealed that the man was allegedly involved in multiple offences.

Items such as weapons and substances suspected to be drugs were found inside the vehicle, raising further concerns about the seriousness of the case.
