Normal Bus lane timing
On weekdays (excluding public holidays), only buses can use part-day bus lanes from
- 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Non-buses can filter in when the bus lane line is dotted to turn left.
Full-Day Bus Lanes timing
On weekdays (excluding public holidays), only buses can use full-day bus lanes from
- 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Non-buses can filter in when the full day bus lane line is dotted to turn left.
Exceptions
- Emergency vehicles (ambulances, fire engines, police or rescue vehicles) on duty with active sirens or horns.
- Solo cyclists not riding side-by-side with another cyclist or similar vehicle.
- Vehicles avoiding immediate danger or collision, provided they don’t stay in the bus lane longer than. necessary.
- School buses, private hire buses, or excursion buses operating under a valid licence.
- Other buses, as long as they don’t stop in the bus lane except for traffic reasons.
