Singapore: Two drivers were caught on camera in a road rage fight at a T-junction.
The fighting escalated to the grass patch along the road. In one instance, the man in white was pinning down the man in black with his knee near his neck area.
The road rage incident lasted for about 50 seconds before a passerby in grey rushed in to separate the two drivers.
A motorcyclist also stopped his bike to render assistance.
We are not sure what caused the road rage incident, as the recording started when the argument had escalated to a fight.
Currently, road rage is not an offence but can be a contributing factor for road safety-related offences.
Other road users who witness road rage incidents may generally make a police report against the road rager under the following offences:
- assault
- public nuisance
- disorderly behaviour
- road traffic offence

Road rage or affray is a chargeable offence under the penal code. This offence is defined under section 267A of the Penal Code and is punishable with a maximum sentence of one year’s imprisonment, a fine of up to $5,000, or both.
Incident happened along Sims Avenue and Lorong 39 Geylang junction on 22/11/21.
