A car was capture by police dashcam charging pass a red light, right in-front of a police petrol car. The traffic junction is located right beside Vivocity.
In the video, the dashcam car and the police petrol car have the right of way, and was turning left toward Vivocity from Sentosa exit. During the turn, the car (that speed pass the red traffic light) suddenly move in.
Luckily, all of the car turning left are alert and no accident was cause. The police petrol car immediately turn on its car siren and proceed to stop the car.
Failing to conform to traffic light signals entails a 12 demerit point deduction.
1st offence: Fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment of up to 6 months or both
2nd offence: Fine not exceeding $2,000 or imprisonment of up to 12 months or both
